There is no waiting period for the VSC coverage to commence. If a vehicle is > 35,000 miles, the transaction can still be completed on your desktop. The welcome email to the customer will inform them that their vehicle may need inspection. If we determine that an inspection is needed on the vehicle, a national inspection company will contact the customer directly and arrange for an inspection at their home or office. Two possible results from the inspection:
A. Vehicle passes inspection and VSC stays in force
B. Vehicle does not pass inspection and customer has two options:
(i) customer can choose to have the items noted repair and the inspector will come back and perform a post repair inspection, or
(ii) customer can choose not to have the repairs made and the customer will receive a full refund of the amount that they have paid for the VSC

Note: The above are the same general inspection guidelines followed by other national companies, Example Ford ESP Plan
